There are two things I'd like to see though; the logo with the other tripod (the one with skinny legs), and one with the tripod/station coloured in orange. I'm not sure if swapping the orange/white sections in the "S" would balance it out more with the tripod colored in. You know best, do your thing :)

The true story of Standeven Surveying Inc.

100% Client Involvement

Standeven Surveying Inc. is a start-up land surveying company in the Fraser Valley. The company needed some sort of branding and corporate identity, and that's when they put the Squad into action. For a company with no name recognition, we needed to ensure the logo would be memorable enough. Clarity and distinctiveness were our aims.

Meaningful dialogue, useful conversation

Throughout the design process, a significant amount of emails were passed back and forth. While this is normal, the difference here was that they were all useful emails. Every decision was questioned and justified, and we learned a lot about the surveying and construction industry (eg. what different colours represent in the construction world, considering how a logo will look on the side of a giant mud covered truck). Over the course of 30+ emails, we dissected every detail and aspect of each design, continually refining. After multiple "final" versions we finally settled on a logo that satisfied all requirements and made both client and design team happy. And after all, isn't happiness what we're all looking for anyways?
